Winter Veil Cookies

You will need:

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour

Combine all ingredients.

Mix well.

Drop onto floured surface.

Cut some of the dough off and roll in flour until it is not sticky.

Roll dough out till desired thickness.

Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F. (176 degrees C)

See how the edges are slightly brown, that is how you want the cookies. If you wait until the tops are brown, the cookies will turn out hard.

This is what the bottoms should look like.

Simplest Christmas icing job ever:
I took white icing and generously iced the cookies.

Then I took some blue tinted sugar and sprinkled then.

Snowballs!

You can buy blue sugar at the grocery store or you can take
1/4c sugar
1 drop of blue food coloring
mix

Yum!

  1. It's butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Real easy to make. If the icing is too thick add more milk, if it is too thin add more powdered sugar.
