Holiday Cheesewheel

You will need:

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
2  cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

In a medium size bowl, mash cream cheese.

Mix dressing mix and Cheddar cheese into the cream cheese.

Shape the mixture into a ball. Roll the ball in the chopped nuts.
It gets much easier to handle once it's covered a bit.

I'm green.
I don't buy saran wrap, trash bags, aluminum foil, napkins, paper towels.
I wrapped the cheese wheel in an empty bread bag.

Refrigerate covered until ready to serve.
At least 2 hours before serving perferably overnight.

Yum!

  1. I have seen a variance to this yummy recipe by switching the nuts with thinly sliced ham, bacon, or other preferred deli meat. In case someone wants cheesy balls without the nuts.

Great as always, but what game tie in is this dish from? I like to see your creative references to all your dishes.

  2. Holiday Cheese wheel is a warcraft recipe. It is seasonal and only comes out at winter veil.
