Ginger Cookie ~ Final Fantasy

A sweet and spicy cookie cut into the shape of a legendary black mage said to have recovered MP by eating the crispy treats.
I know, I know. They are not in the shape of a black mage. The only bipedal cookie cutter I have is a gingerbread man. Find me a cookie cutter like that & I will remake gladly this post.




You will need:

2 c all-purpose flour
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 c margarine, softened
1 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg






Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 

Sift together the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. 
Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and sugars until light and fluffy. 
Beat in the egg.

Gradually stir the sifted ingredients.

Place the cookies 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. 

Yum!

Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
