Kothtri was a type of spiced fruit juice that originated from the Bothan homeworld of Bothawui.
Can be served hot or cold.
8 cups water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Using a large pot, mix the sugar and lemon juice.
Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.
Stir.
Heat or stove-top until mixture begins to a simmer. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Use a ladle to divide among 6 mugs or tall glasses.
You will have some sediment on the bottom.
You can run the ade through a strainer or a coffee filter to remove it.
Yum!
Serve hot on a windy cold day or over ice to cool down on a hot summer day.
