Wild Apple Cookies ~ EverQuest




You will need:


1/2 c butter
1 c brown sugar
1 egg
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/4 nutmeg
1 c apples




Cream brown sugar and butter until creamy. 
Add egg.






Add flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, clover and nutmeg.


Stir in apples.
 If you are unsing an electric mixer, turn it off and stir in the apple pieces with a spoon.





Place spoonfuls of dough onto a greased cookie sheet. 

 yum!

Set oven to 400 degrees. (200 degrees C)
Set oven rack to center of oven.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until cookies look dry and puff on top.

  2. I left the apples unpeeled too. I think the green adds color and texture to an already lovely cookie.

  5. I bet these cookies would be good even without the apples. But I agree, putting fruit in something means you can eat it for breakfast too!
