Bread of the Dead

Bread of the Dead! How much fun is eating bread to honor the dead?!
A whole box full of fun, that's how much!

This was an easier recipe. Time consuming but simple especially since I used frozen bread dough. Yeast scares me, I am intimidated by it sea monkey like qualities.
(Alive in a packet but add water and they flourish. /cower)
I had some trouble getting the mouth stitching to stay put. I tried a bit of water to make it stick but ended up coating the tops with butter to seal it in and the butter will help brown the tops.

Baked at 350 degrees F (170 degrees C) for 15 minutes.

This is one of those recipes that I've never tried before and they didn't come out as defined as I would have wanted. You live & you learn, next time I wont let them rise as much & make the detail a bit bigger.

Don't get me wrong, they were delicious. Nothing better then a homemade dinner rolls with butter.
With the roll is still warm & the butter melts as soon at is touches the bread.

Yum!
