Blue Bantha Milk

We have a release date!
December 20, 2011

You will need:

2 cups white sugar
1 cup water
1 package unsweetened, fruit-flavored soft drink mix
(I used a .22 ounce Blue Raspberry Lemonade)

In a saucepan over medium high heat, combine sugar and water.

Cook, stirring, until mixture comes to a boil.

Boil for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.

Stir in drink mix powder.

Pour a glass of milk, about 8 ounces.

Stir 2 tablespoon syrup into 8 ounces milk, or to taste.

I saved an empty coffee creamer container and poured the remaining Blue Bantha Milk in it to refrigerate.
It will thicken when completely cooled but still be pourable.

Keep refrigerated for up to 2 months. I can guarantee it won't be around that long.

To me, it tastes like a cremesicle. It has a different body to it.

I honestly thought the raspberry lemonade milk would be gross but it was the only "blue" flavor they had. But was I wrong, it is delicious!

I have no knowledge of food or drinks in the game Star Wars: The Old Republic. These are solely my creations that I have made based on books, movies and other Star Wars games.

  1. Well... that is ... interesting. Thankfully I am lactose intolerant and I don't drink mil from cows or Banthas or any critter. But nicely done!!

  2. Thank you! I wanted to do something a little bit more then 2 drops of blue food coloring.

My husband is lactose intolerant also and he made his with Lactaid. He liked it but as an avid milk drinker, Lactaid tastes like poo.

This is a way cheaper way to make flavored milk like strawberry or chocolate.
