Heaven Peach Crisp

I gathered up some Heaven Peach's from a vendor in Darnassus. I highly recommend them, they are delicious just as they are or in a crisp or a cobbler.

You will need:

6 fresh heaven peaches - peeled, pitted and sliced
1/2 teaspoon almond extract  (or vanilla)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup quick oats
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter

Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C), and grease an 8 inch square baking dish.

Place the peaches in the bottom of the baking dish, and sprinkle them with almond extract.

In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and salt.
Cut the butter into the flour mixture with a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles crumbs.

Sprinkle the flour mixture in an even layer over the top of the peaches, and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, until the peaches are bubbling and the topping is browned.

Serve over your favorite ice cream. Best if the crisp is warm.

Yum!

Conjured Mana Cakes

Other cake recipes

You will need:

1 cup (200 g) white sugar
1/2 cup (120 g) butter
2 eggs
2 tsp (10 ml) vanilla extract
1 1/2 (180 g) cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp (8 ml) baking powder
1/2 cup (120 ml) milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan or line a muffin pan with paper liners.

In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Finally stir in the milk until batter is smooth. Pour or spoon batter into the prepared pan.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. For cupcakes, bake 20 to 25 minutes. Cake is done when it springs back to the touch.

I made cupcakes. I used an extra large muffin pan.
Once they were finished baking I set them on a tray in the freezer for a hour. They did stick a bit in the pan as you can see in the photo but not to worry. I can show you how mistakes don't matter and anything can be fixed with icing.

I cut the cupcakes in half like a layer cake. To make the cake as straight as possible see below how I set the cake up. Upside-down and backwards. I wear my sweaters the same way. It's how I roll.

You can see my cakes are crumbly and parts of them stuck to the muffin tins. Don't worry, it happens. Ice them when they are cold, not frozen.
If you ice a cake while it is frozen solid when is defrosts, it will expand causing your cake to crack.

Juicy Bear Burgers

You will need to stop by your factions butcher for his fresh bear meat, one pound will do great. Make into 4-1 1/2 inch thick Juicy Bear Burgers.

Cook two at a time so they do not stick or crumble.

Cook for 20-30 minutes in a covered skillet. Flip after 10 minutes.

Turn the stove top off and add a bit of Fine Aged Cheddar Cheese. Put the lid back on the pan for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.

Banana Cocktail

Sold all over Azeroth Banana Cocktail's are available to both Horde and Alliance. I serve it non-alcoholic to make this an alcoholic drink add a shot of your favorite rum or 99 Bananas Schnapps.

You will need the following:
Vanilla wafers
Vanilla Ice Cream
Whipped Topping (can or frozen)
Half and Half  (you can use milk, I like half & half because its thicker. Plus, use extra for your coffee the next morning.)
Banana

Add 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
4 oz of half & half
banana (cut up into pieces)

Blend well. This is a smoothie maker but a there is no ice so any blender will work fine. This recipe doesn't make a whole lot so if you are entertaining a large amount of people double it or hide it from the Dwarves.

Please drink responsibly, take a flightpath home.

Cookie's Special Ramlette...Cookie, why?

I used 2 eggs but I cannot bring myself to use the left over chicken in the fridge. That would make this concoction a two generation omlette and I'm not ready to carry that burden on my shoulders.

You will need:
2 eggs
packet of Raman noodles (no seasoning packet)
a tab or two of butter

Your favorite omlette ingredients
I used:
green pepper
red pepper
onion
leftover beef
2 cheese slices

Dice up your ingredients, I used onions, red and green peppers, leftover beef.

Boil Raman noodles acording to package directions. Then drain. DO NOT ADD SEASONING PACKET!
Yeah, that is what will make this meal gross, the seasoning packet.

In a pan melt a tab of butter. Saute the onions, peppers and meat until tender.

Add 2 scrambles eggs and cooked noodles.

Heat until eggs are cooked thoroughly.

Remove from heat and add a slice of cheese on top. The residual heat will melt it beautifully.

This wasn't so bad. It wasn't so great either. When I first Google'd "Ramlette" I was appalled at what it was. What was Cookie thinking I asked myself.  Did he think up this (I hesitate to even call it a "recipe" ) during Brewfest? That would explain a lot.

I don't see this popping up on any restaurant breakfast menu's across the globe anytime soon. Enjoy! I await your responses with glee:)

Runn Tum Tuber Surprise

My main toon on Anvilmar has 99% of all the cooking recipes. (I cannot learn the rogue's Thistle Tea because I am a druid)  Searching for Runn Tum Tuber in Dire Maul was an adventure. It dropped off of the little imp you followed around, Pusillin.

When I found this recipe for a tuber, I knew I had to bring it to life.

2 white potatoes sliced longways.

Use butter or olive oil on the bottom of a baking dish. Place sliced tubers flat side down. Brush oil lightly over tops of potatoes.
Season with garlic, onion, sea salt, cayenne pepper and cumin.
Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees F. (190 degrees C)

It reminds me of a twice baked potato is taste and appearance. Add a spoonful of sour cream or slice of cheese.

Yum!

Stormchops

Other recipes that go with this post

Runn Tum Tuber Surprise   Bread of the Dead   Tomato Soup

I used pork chops for this amazing & quite electrifying recipe.
I only hope you enjoy them as much as we did.  I farmed for this recipe in-game until I chalked it up there with Attumen mount. (It's a myth or near myth-like status.) But I eventually gave enough offerings and the Blizzard Gods (aka. random number generator in the sky) bestowed upon me their glory.

2  pork chops (fresh out of Clefthoof meat)
2 tbs (30 ml) soy sauce
1/2 tsp (3 ml) ginger
1/2 tsp (3 ml) salt
1/2 tsp (3 ml) garlic powder
2 tbs (30 ml) honey

Brush chops with a mixture of all the ingredients above and refrigerate for 30 minutes.  Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees F. (176 degrees C)

Uncooked

Cooked

They smell delicious when cooking. No visual strikes of lightening much to my disappointment. There is always the deviant delight to look forward to.

Yum!

I have heard that if you eat Stormchops in the rain (in game) something special is supposed to happen. I've never tried it but if you do, let me know or make a video & I will post it.

In another bowl, mix peanut butter and milk.

Then add to dry ingredients and mix well.

Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. roll into balls and flatten.
Bake for 20 minutes on a greased (I used a baking mat) baking sheet until lightly brown.
Cool on a rack, then store in an airtight container.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen.

Yum!

This was so easy & fun to make. I am glad friends and guildies suggested doing this blog. I am going to have a blast interpreting Warcraft foods in my own way; I hope you like the posts too. Feel free to comment your love or distaste, I look forward to feedback.
